Patsy Mink

👶🏻 Early Life: Patsy Mink was born on December 6, 1927, in Paia, Hawaii. Patsy graduated from Maui High School in 1944 as the valedictorian and first female class president. After high school, Patsy attended Wilson College in Pennsylvania and the University of Nebraska. Eventually, Patsy transferred to the University of Hawaii, hoping to become a doctor. After she was rejected from medical school, Patsy decided to apply to law school and was accepted by the University of Chicago, this eventually led to an interest in law and politics
